Suncoast Music Scholarships 2023 News
Suncoast Music Scholarships 2023 will offer $12,000 in music scholarship awards to 10th through 12th grade students who reside in Sarasota or Manatee County. These scholarships are offered through a partnership of Sarasota Music Club and Artist Series Concerts of Sarasota that has awarded over $110,000 in scholarships to area students since 2016.
The 2023 awards will be determined through a competition that will be held on April 22, with applications due no later than 5 p.m. on March 31.
Music students currently attending 12th grade are eligible for three awards: 1st place – $4,000, 2nd place – $,3000, and 3rd place – $2,000. Students in 10th and 11th grade will compete for two awards at each grade level: 1st place – $1,000, and 2nd place – $500.
Winners will perform in a free concert at 3 p.m. on May 13, 2023, at First Presbyterian Church of Sarasota.

Both partners in this scholarship program are devoted to enhancing music performance and education. Founded in 1930 and originally part of the historic Women’s Club, Sarasota Music Club offers free, member-supported performances October through March. Since its founding in 1996, Artist Series Concerts of Sarasota is known for bringing diverse emerging artists as well as world-class musical experiences to Sarasota and Manatee counties, through a full calendar of concerts along with extensive community and school outreach programs.
