Anne Tormela, Lyric Coloratura Soprano

Sarasota Music Club presents a free concert featuring Anne Tormela, an award-winning artist whose performances have delighted audiences in Europe and across the Gulf Coast. Songs from Verdi, Puccini and Gershwin will mingle with familiar favorites from Jerome-Kern and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Anne has appeared as guest soloist with orchestras in Italy and Poland, as well as with The Pops Symphony of Sarasota and Sarasota Choral Society’s 2018 production of “Messiah.” She performed at the Krakow Moorish Temple for the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

Ms. Tormela has a touring opera company, The Manhattan Lyric Opera Company, and a fourth degree black belt in Taikwon Do.

This performance will be offered in First Presbyterian Church of Sarasota’s Sanctuary (not in Fellowship Hall, as advertised and where previous concerts have been held). Socially distanced seating is available, and face masks are required.

The Sanctuary is located straight ahead on Oak Street as you drive towards the church facilities, and parking is available on Oak and lots to the left and right.
